Ecotherapy Retreat

Spending time in Nature is healing in and of itself. It can be a time to relax, decompress, release anxiety for a while, and get in touch with deeper parts of ourselves that have been squelched or forgotten. Such time can open up new ways of seeing ourselves and our world, which in turn can open up possibilities for healing. This is the purpose of the Ecotherapy Retreat -- a time to let the mask of social conditioning drop away and be one with your true self, others and nature.

Ecotherapy retreats take place in beautiful, remote natural settings in the Pacific Northwest, the West, the Southwest, California, Hawaii, or abroad, depending upon the season of the year and the number of participants. During the retreat, participants are invited to participate in various mindfulness activities, such as meditation, Tai Chi or Yoga. Various other activities are available, too, depending upon the location, such as day hikes, overnight backpacking trips, swimming, snorkling, horseback riding and more. Some destinations have natural hot springs.

Ecotherapy retreats usually last five days. Costs associated with travel, meals and any accommodations are determined on a trip-by-trip basis.

The retreat deposit, which is $300, should be made at least one month ahead of the retreat start date.
